Michael Wilson

Graveside service for Michael E. Wilson, 67, of Iredell, Texas will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, October 23, 2021, in Squaw Creek Cemetery. Pastor John McGinnis will officiate.

Michael passed away Monday, October 18, 2021, in Fort Worth. He was born September 21, 1954, in Fort Worth to Doyle Eugene and Charlidell Davis Wilson. Michael married Jo Ellen Youngblood on April 12, 1974, in Glen Rose. He was of the Methodist faith. Michael was the owner and operator of Wilson Brother’s Inc. since 1985. He was an honest and hard-working man. He never held a grudge and was always smiling. Michael could do anything he set his mind to. He was a talented musician, especially guitarist. He was a giving man never expecting anything in return. He was a rock not only to his family and friends but also to his community. He was bigger than life and will be missed greatly. His love of family, especially his grandkids will live on for years to come.

Michael is survived by his wife of 47 years, Jo Ellen; son, Zeke Wilson and wife, Jami; grandchildren, Kasen and Kaylee Wilson; parents, Doyle Eugene and Charlidell Wilson; brothers, Kenneth Wilson and wife, Karen, Terry Wilson and wife, Melody; nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Jade Wilson.
