Michael Walley

Service for Michael Wayne Walley, 59, of Godley, will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Monday, August 16, 2021 at Godley Western Fellowship Church. Burial will follow in the Godley Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-7:00 P.M., Sunday, August 15, 2021 at the funeral home.

Michael passed away August 11, 2021 in Godley. He was born October 31, 1961 in Fort Worth to Samuel Sidney and Lena Faye Reid Walley. Michael married Kathryn D’Ann Ballard on July 24, 1982 in Kennedale. He retired as commander of the Mansfield Police Department after 28 years of service. Michael was a Navy veteran and musician. He loved playing music.

Michael is survived by his wife, D’Ann Walley of Godley; sons, Jonathan Walley of Godley, Joshua Walley of Godley; daughter, Katelyn Walley of Godley; sister Sherryl Walley; mother Lena Walley; grandchildren, Brendon Cook, Megan Thompson, Kaylee Thompson, Corbin Walley, Jaycee Walley and great-grandchild, Lincoln Cook.
