Graveside for Mattie Ray Barnes will be conducted at 10:30 A.M., Saturday, September 11, 2021 in Grange Hall Cemetery in Rio Vista. Visitation will be 6-8:00 P.M. Friday, September 10, 2021 at the funeral home.

Mattie Ray Barnes 71, of Springtown, Texas passed away on September 1, 2021 in Azel, Texas. She was born August 3, 1949 in Cleburne, Texas to Raymond “Nickle” and Irene Dollar. Mattie married Roy Gene Barnes in 1983. She was a dietary aid in the healthcare industry.

Mattie is survived by her children, Tammy Duke of Cleburne, Loretta Edwards and husband Chuck of Joshua, Crystal Parrish and husband Stevon of Rio Vista, Amber Barnes and husband Robert of Springtown; step-daughter, Elizabeth Williams of Grandview; sisters Annie Morales of Whitney and Shirley Riley and Dewayne of Covington; brother, Donnie Dollar and wife Delores of Clifton; grandchildren, Anthony, Jessicca, Cierra, Robert, Kee’Ron, Jaydin, Thomas, Andrew, Hailey and Serinity; great-grandchildren, Luke and Briscoe.

Mattie is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Irene Dollar; husband, Roy Gene Barnes; sister, Mary Clark; granddaughter, Breanna Barnes and previous husbands, Lloyd Duke and Milton Duke.
