A graveside service for Mary Ann (Owen) Claunch, 76, of Cleburne will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, in the Rosehill Cemetery located at 405 Waters St. Cleburne, Texas 76033 with Reverend Ken Coleman officiating. There will be an open visitation beginning at 11:00 AM on Monday, February 9, 2026, at Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home located at 512 N. Ridgeway Dr., Cleburne, Texas 76033.
Mary Ann (Owen) Claunch, born on August 27, 1949, in Fort Worth, Texas, passed away on February 3, 2026, in Cleburne, Texas. A beloved wife and devoted mother, Mary Ann was married to her husband, Michael Glen Claunch, for an enduring 58 years. Their union was a testament to love and companionship that spanned nearly six decades.
Mary Ann was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Cleburne, where she contributed her time and spirit to the community. Additionally, she was involved in the Kings Daughters and the Beta Sigma Phi sorority, connections that enriched her life and allowed her to forge lasting friendships. Throughout her life, Mary Ann engaged in various part-time jobs, showcasing her work ethic and dedication. She cherished her hobbies which included collecting antiques and exploring estate sales with friends, finding joy in those moments spent uncovering unique treasures.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Glen Claunch and her parents, Joe M. Owen Jr. and Sarah Jean Turriff.
Mary Ann is survived by her daughter, Amy Stegall, and her husband Kevin of Athens, Texas; her beloved fur babies, Jacy and Meggie, and a host of other family and friends.
Mary Ann's kindness, warmth, and spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She leaves behind a loving legacy and cherished memories.
