A funeral service for Mary Louise (Nesbit) McVicker, 97, of Cleburne, will be held at 9:00 AM on Monday, November 24, 2025, in the St. John Vianney Catholic Parish located at 200 S. Nolan River Road, Cleburne, Texas 76033, with Father Scott Wooten officiating. Interment will follow in the Rosehill Cemetery, Cleburne, Tx. There will be a time of visitation for family and friends from 5:00-6:30 PM and a Rosary from 6:30-7:00 PM at the funeral home on Sunday, November 23, 2025. The family requests that memorial donations be made to Carmelite Nuns Arlington in lieu of floral tributes for the service.

Mary Louise (Nesbit) McVicker, 97, peacefully passed away in Cleburne, Tx on November 19, 2025. She was a remarkable woman known for her sweet and helpful disposition, capturing the hearts of all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She was born on December 21, 1927. She married Lloyd "Red" McVicker on May 8, 1954 in Cleburne, Tx. She was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Parrish.

Mary was deeply devoted to her faith and exhibited this devotion through her actions and interactions. She had a unique ability to make everyone feel welcome and appreciated; her gifted conversational skills were always evident in her lively exchanges. She was never too busy to listen to others trials and concerns. Mary loved her family dearly and created a warm, inviting atmosphere for all who visited her home.

Throughout her life, she took pride in her appearance, always appearing graceful and elegant. An excellent cook, Mary was celebrated for her culinary skills. Her special ingredient was love. Preparing meals for her family, friends, and community was the best way to show love; often sharing delicious meals that brought her family together. In addition to cooking, she enjoyed sewing and had a flair for shopping.

Mary is survived by her beloved children, David McVicker and Kathy McVicker, and her grandchild, Nolan McVicker. She is also fondly remembered by special friend Mickey McClure, nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives, who will continue to hold her memory close to their hearts.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Louise Nesbit, her husband, Lloyd E. McVicker, her son, Steve McVicker, her brother, Mike Nesbit, her sisters, Kay Magee and Rita Tybor, and her dear friend, Dorothy Watts.

Mary Louise McVicker will be profoundly missed by all who knew her, her legacy of love and devotion to family and faith will surely endure in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
