Funeral service for Mary Francis Brooks Monk, 90, of Cleburne will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, July 28, 2025 at Calvary Baptist Church, 700 Woodward Ave, Cleburne, Texas. Interment will be at 2:00 P.M., Monday, July 28, 2025 in Hart Cemetery in Breckenridge, Texas. A visitation will be held 6-8:00 P.M., Sunday, July 27, 2025 at Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home, 512 North Ridgeway, Cleburne, Texas 76033.

Mary passed away July 23, 2025 in Cleburne. She was born October 11, 1934 in Thurber, Texas.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Johnie Aaron Pierce and Mollie May Chambless Brooks; brothers, Stell and Bobby Brooks; sister, Clovis Rexroat.

Mary is survived by her children, Carla Monk, Angela Monk, James Edward Monk, Jr., Kenneth Monk, Brooks Monk, Sr. and wife, Betty, Scott Monk and wife, Annmarie; grandchildren, CJ Monk and wife Erika, Jessica Beltran and husband Nathan, Grace Monk and husband Jonathan Mozingo, Olivia Monk, Hope Monk, Charlotte Monk, Barbee Monk, Brooks Monk, Jr, Lauren Monk, Daniel Monk, MacKenzie Maclin and husband Travis; and nephew Philip Lisle and wife Jill.
