Marie Honeycutt, a cherished member of the community, passed away on August 6, 2025, in Cleburne, Texas. Born on September 27, 1946, in Irving, Texas. Marie lived a full and vibrant life, marked by her dedication to her family, her work, and her faith.

Marie was a devoted member of the First United Methodist Church of Joshua. Her enthusiasm for service and her love for her church community enriched the lives of those around her. She found joy in working alongside friends and fellow members, making a lasting impression through her kindness and generosity. Marie retired from the Joshua School District as Food Service Manager serving from August 1984-June2013. During her time there she influenced many children.

Above all, Marie held a profound love for her family. She is survived by her three sons, Michael Honeycutt, Mark Honeycutt, and Matthew Honeycutt, brother Robert Bell; 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, often expressing how much joy they brought to her life.

Marie was preceded in death by her parents, Noel Leslie Bell and Elsie Lou Thompson, whose influence shaped her into the remarkable woman she became.

As we reflect on the life of Marie Honeycutt, we remember a woman of strength, compassion, and unwavering love, whose legacy will continue through her family and all who had the privilege to know her. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for the warmth and kindness she shared with the world.

A memorial service will be held later at First Methodist Church in Joshua.
