A private graveside will be held for Margie Mae Smith, 88, of Cleburne who passed away December 27, 2023 in Hico, Texas.
She and James “JB” Smith were married June 19, 1953 in Cleburne. They had one son Donnie Smith. Margie worked as a Laboratory Control Clerk at Cleburne Memorial/Walls Regional Hospital for 36 years. She was a lifelong member of Calvary Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by JB Smith, after 31 years of marriage; her father, John Fredrick Wesson; mother, Vera Mae Keesee Wesson; brothers, Billy John Wesson and Garland “Cotton” Wesson and sister, Patsy Wesson.
She is survived by her son Donnie and his wife Carla; granddaughters, Keri Brooks and husband, Rookie, Loren Bell and husband, Jimmy, along with great grandchildren, Kylee and Gracie Brooks, and Halo, Sawyer and Archer Bell.
