Margie Sanderson

Service for Margie Anne Sanderson, 84, of Alvarado, will be conducted at10:00 A.M., Monday, September 20, 2021, in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will follow at Glenwood Cemetery in Alvarado. Visitation will be 6-8:00 P.M., Sunday, September 19, 2021 at the funeral home.

Margie passed away September 15, 2021 in Fort Worth. She was born August 6, 1937 in Cleburne to Claude and Loretta Mae Bonham Allen. Margie married R.L. Sanderson on April 21, 1955 in Cleburne. She was a bookkeeper for over 50 years for Sandy’s Tax Service. she was a member of Shepherds Valley Cowboy Church and Order of Easter Star.

Margie is survived by daughters, Belinda Massey and Terry of Joshua, Cynthia Brand and Tom of San Saba, Shawna Maxwell and Kevin of Burleson; sisters, Ruth Stites of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Roxie Allen of Buffalo, New York and Terri Duncan of Alvarado; 8 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and numerous friend who have become family.

Margie is preceded in death by her parents; husband R.L. Sanderson and son Ricky Sanderson.
