Margaret Moore

Service for Margaret E. Moore, 80, of Keene, will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Monday, May 8, 2023 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will follow in Buel Cemetery. There will be a time of visitation from 4:00-6:00 P.M., Sunday, May 7, 2023 at the funeral home.
Margaret passed away Monday, May 1, 2023, in Cleburne. She was born February 9, 1943 in Alvarado to Homer Lee and Helen Louise Sparks Roderick. She married Lonnie Lee Moore on July 31, 1959 in Cleburne. Margaret was a member of Buel Baptist Church, and she had a strong faith. She worked as a furniture upholster for Vecta in Grand Prairie for 27 years. Margaret was extremely hard working. She was quiet yet fun-loving, devoted to family and a loyal friend of a small circle. She enjoyed all the gatherings, as well as gardening, fishing, camping, shopping and traveling with family. She will be greatly missed.
Survivors include her children, Jeanette Lackey, Ronnie Moore, Vincent Moore & Tracie, and Ricky Moore; grandchildren and their spouses, Desiree Moore Fricks & Jimmy, Vincent Haze Moore, Bobby Lackey, Jr., Taylan Moore, Myron Moore & Josie, Precious Moore & Marcus Johnson, Elizabeth Moore, Matthew Moore & Kara, Garrett Moore, and Nolan Moore & Kallie; 15 great-grandchildren and one on the way; brothers, David Roderick, Douglas Roderick, Kenneth Roderick, and Jerry Roderick; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister, Joyce Wilson; and son-in-law, Bobby Lackey.
