Lynne Douglas Wideman Bevers, 80, passed away peacefully on August 1, 2025, in Cleburne, Texas. Born on July 2, 1945, in Lubbock, Texas, Lynne was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, who brought warmth and beauty to those around her.

Lynne cherished her role as a homemaker and enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, from caring for her family to decorating homes with a distinctive touch. Her artistic flair did not go unnoticed, as she created inviting spaces that reflected her love and attention to detail. Additionally, Lynne found fulfillment in her work as a secretary at Hicks-Ragland, where she demonstrated her dedication and strong work ethic.

She was deeply rooted in her faith and treasured the friendships she built with her church community, particularly through her involvement in bible study groups. These connections enriched her life, providing her with support and joy throughout her years.

Lynne was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Aline Wideman, and her sister, Alyce Ann Wideman.

Lynne is survived by her loving husband, Royce D Bevers of Cleburne, Texas; son, Blair Taylor and wife Nancy of Weatherford, Texas; daughter, Brandi Estrada of El Paso, Texas; stepsons, Lance Bevers and wife Nancy of Shallowater, Texas, and Barry Bevers; stepdaughter, Mendy Bevers of Hereford, Texas; and her treasured grandchildren, Karson Bevers and wife Mikki, and Sydney Bevers and fiancé Mike MacEwan, both of Midland, Texas; and great-grandchildren, Emma and Hudson Bevers.

Her legacy of love and kindness will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know her. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered. She was cared for and loved by many at Ridgeview Village and special care from Gateway Hospice. 

The family would like to say thank you to all of Lynne's caretakers for the love and kindness shown to her over the years.
