A funeral service for Lynn Inez (Weaver) Jackson, 93, of Cleburne, will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, August 6, 2026 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home Chapel located at 512 N Ridgeway Dr, Cleburne, TX 76033 with Rev. Charles Somervill officiating. Interment will follow in the Rosehill Cemetery, 960 E. Second St., Cleburne, TX 7603 with Cole Hollingsworth, Abby Hollingsworth, Dan Weaver, Joe Weaver, Tommy Weaver, Krista Weaver, and Kathy Weaver serving as pallbearers.

Lynn Jackson passed away peacefully to join her Lord and Savior on August 1, 2026, in Cleburne. She was born on September 18, 1932, in Files Valley, Texas.

Lynn was a devoted Christian and was baptized in the Presbyterian Church. A cherished member of her community, Lynn leaves behind a legacy defined by compassion, dedication, and enduring connections with those she loved. Across a remarkable 37-year career in education, Lynn served the communities of Ennis, Dallas, Plainview, and Cleburne with exceptional commitment and care. Her influence on generations of students and colleagues is a testament to her unwavering dedication to learning, mentorship, and the betterment of others.

Those who knew Lynn remember her for her beautiful handwriting, a small but enduring sign of her attention to detail and the thoughtfulness she brought to all she did. Generosity defined her interactions, always seeking opportunities to brighten the lives of those around her. Her joy in celebrating the holidays and giving gifts was matched only by her generous spirit. Lynn took great pride in her home and particularly enjoyed tending to her yard. She regularly fed the birds and found joy in the company of animals, reflecting her deep love for all creatures. Lynn loved traveling with her late husband, Jack, embracing adventure while holding steadfast to the comforts of home and family.

Lynn was preceded in death by her husband, Jack B. Jackson; parents, Fern and Inez Weaver; brother, Lloyd Weaver; sister-in-law, Carol Weaver; nephew and niece, Jim and Becky Weaver.
