Lue Ellen Brown-Moody, a beloved member of her community, passed away peacefully on May 1, 2026. Born on January 14, 1948, Lue was Known for her intelligence, wit, and vivacious spirit.

Lue Ellen was truly the life of every gathering. Her magnetic personality and quick humor made her a joy to be around. She had a special love for reading stories, with a fondness for tales from the classic series "Dark Shadows." She loved to dance, and brought energy and joy to every dance floor, capturing the hearts of those fortunate enough to dance alongside her. Lue Ellen was a beacon of love and warmth, a trait profoundly felt by those closest to her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie May Hardeman and Gladys Maudine (Houston) Liggins; sons, Tommy Brown, III and Christopher Brown; brother, Willie Hardeman, and sister, Willierene Wallace.

Survivors include her daughter, Mary Fuqua; sister, Catherine Maddox & her husband, Don; brother, James Hardeman; nephew, Barry Hardeman & his wife Christie, and numerous other relatives and friends.

Lue Ellen Brown-Moody’s legacy is one of laughter, love, and a zest for life that inspired everyone around her. Her memory will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know her.
