A visitation for Lorena Yasmin Camacho Ontiveros, 42, of Joshua will be held from 1:00-3:00 PM on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, followed by a memorial service at 3:00 PM in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home Chapel, located at 512 N. Ridgeway Dr., Cleburne, TX 76033, with Fr. Sergio Rizo officiating. Susano Ortiz, Lucero Ortiz, Marina Ortiz, Albaro Ortiz, Lexi Ortiz, and Sandra Williams will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Lorena Yasmin Camacho Ontiveros passed away on June 30, 2026, in Cleburne, Texas. She was born on December 31, 1983, in Chihuahua, Mexico. Throughout her 42 years, Lorena touched the lives of those around her with grace, kindness, and enduring strength.
She carried the values of her birthplace close to her heart throughout her life, blending her heritage with the new surroundings she embraced in Texas. Those who knew Lorena admired her determination and the unwavering care she showed to friends, colleagues, and neighbors alike.
Lorena approached each day with quiet dignity and steadfast commitment. Those who were fortunate enough to have known her personally knew she was extremely hard-working for her family, very stubborn, a little loud, and above all, always compassionate & understanding. She always had a big, beautiful smile on her face and contagious laughter, a testament to the joy she brought to everyone’s lives.
While Lorena’s presence will be deeply missed, her legacy of compassion and kindness will continue to inspire all whose lives she touched. Lorena was and will forever be very loved by her devoted husband, Susano, and she will be remembered for her strength. As we gather to remember her, we reflect with gratitude on the profound impact she made through the simple but powerful acts of love and understanding that defined her time among us.
Lorena is preceded in death by her parents, Luis Arturo Ontiveros and Telma Nidia Camacho Terrazas.
Survivors include her husband, Susano Ortiz; children, Lucero Ortiz, Marina Ortiz, Albaro Ortiz, and Lexi Ortiz; sister, Sandra Williams and her partner, Justin; brother, Luis Ontiveros; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
