A funeral service for Lilburn "LB" Bledsue, Jr., 82, of Cleburne, will be held at 10:00AM on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home Chapel located at 512 N Ridgeway Drive, Cleburne, Texas 76033 with Pastor Steve Stone officiating. Interment will follow at 1:00 PM in the Antioch Cemetery with Shelby Watson, Johnny Sanders, Johnny Hight, and Robert Anderson serving as honorary pallbearers. There will be a time of visitation for family and friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 21, 2026.
Lilburn "LB" Bledsue, Jr., a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and lifelong horseman, passed away peacefully on April 16, 2026, in Cleburne, Texas. Born on May 7, 1943, in Fort Worth, Texas, LB lived a life filled with warmth, wit, and unwavering dedication to his family, his work, and the animals he cherished deeply.
Known for his sharp wit and kind nature, LB was beloved by children and adults alike, many of whom fondly remember his gentle spirit and the joy he found in caring for his horses and cows. His love for these animals was not just a pastime but a defining part of his identity, reflecting a lifelong passion as a horseman that brought him happiness and connection with the land and community around him.
Professionally, LB dedicated many years to his craft as an electrician at Withers Electric, where his skill and reliability were respected by his colleagues and customers. His commitment to his work mirrored the same steadfastness he showed in all areas of his life.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lilburn Bledsue, Sr. and Inez (Long) Bledsue; his siblings Tommy Bledsue, Betty Baker, and Larry Bledsue. LB is survived by his wife, Carolyn Ann Bledsue; his children, Terry Bledsue and his wife Rhonda, and Lindy Bledsue; his grandchildren, Jake Bledsue, Gracee Bledsue, and Kasey Hubbard, and numerous loving family members and lifelong friends.
Lilburn "LB" Bledsue, Jr.’s life was a tapestry of love, laughter, and loyalty—a legacy that will endure in the hearts of all who knew him. His spirit remains a guiding light for those who carry forward his memory.
