Leo Roye

Service for Leo D. Roye, 81, of Rio Vista will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, January 24, 2023 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Reverend Alton Harwell will officiate. Burial will follow in Rio Vista Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8:00 P.M., Monday, January 23, 2023 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Glenn Copeland, Richard Harwell, Doug Watson, Greg Roye, Justin Roye and Brad Friermood.

Leo passed away January 16, 2023 in Rio Vista. He was born March 17, 1941 in Blum to William Marvin and Angie Pearl Anderson Roye. Leo married Marie Annette Smith on November 11, 1961 in Blum. He was a farmer and of the Baptist faith.

Leo is survived by his wife, Marie Roye of Rio Vista; sister Wanda Harwell and husband Kenneth of Sillsbee, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews.

Leo is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, William Roye, Travis Roye, James Roye, Raymond Roye, John Roye, H.A. Roye, Marvin Junior Roye, Violet Copeland and Azalee West.
