Lena Lain

Graveside service for Lena Vaughan Lain, 77, of Cleburne, will be held at 1:00 P.M., Monday, January 9, 2023 in Baker-Lain Cemetery. Chaplain Eddy Carrell will officiate. Visitation will be 4:00-6:00 P.M., Sunday, January 8, 2023 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Michael Lain, B.J. Barrett, Donnie Vaughan, Charles Vaughan, and Chris Humphries.

Lena passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2023, in Cleburne. She was born in Cleburne on November 9, 1945 to Charlie and Rosa Winkler Vaughan. Lena was of the Baptist faith. She worked for Santa Fe Railroad for 30 years.

She is survived by her children, Darrell Townsend of Cleburne, and Tonja Barrett of Burleson; grandchild, B.J. Barrett and wife, Alyssa of Corpus Christi; great-grandchild, Lilliana Barrett of Corpus Christi; sister, Betty Hall of Cleburne; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Lena is preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Charles Wayne Vaughan.
