Lena Laverne Richardson Hadley

A graveside service for Lena Laverne Richardson Hadley, 87, of Burleson will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 21, 2026, in the Greenacres Memorial Park Cemetery with Chaplain Eddy Carrell officiating. 

Lena "Laverne" Hadley, born on July 14, 1938, in Godley, Texas, passed away on March 15, 2026, in Burleson, Texas. Her life was marked by dedication and community involvement, notably her active participation in the Eastern Star, where she touched many lives with her commitment and spirit.

Lena was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Wayne Hadley, and her parents, Lewis Richardson and Grace Clea Carbitt. She is survived by her stepson, Anthony Hadley, and his wife, Amanda; her grandchildren: Ashley Hadley, Kaitlyn Hall and her husband Justin, Connor Hadley, and Reese Hadley; and her nephews, Don Thurston and Charles Thurston, and many other relatives and friends.

Lena "Laverne" Hadley’s enduring spirit and dedication to family and community serve as a lasting testament to a life well-lived. She will be dearly missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
