Larry Galvin

Graveside for Larry Dean Galvin, Sr., 80, of Granbury will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, May 21, 2022 in Rosehill Cemetery in Cleburne. Visitation will be 6-8:00 P.M., Friday, May 20, 2022 at the funeral home.

Larry passed away May 17, 2022 in Granbury. He was born September 23, 1941 in Fort Scott, Kansas to Robert Merle and Catherine Lovella Loy Galvin. Larry married Sylvia Ann Green on July 3, 1975 in Cleburne. Larry had over 30 years in grocery management working at Piggly Wiggly, Safeway, Minyards and Frito Lay through out his career. After retiring from his grocery career Larry worked as a bus driver for CISD.

Larry is survived by his wife, Sylvia Galvin of Granbury; children, Doug Galvin of Keene, Anne Dominguez of Benbrook; step-daughter, Rene Jackson of Granbury; grandchildren, Ryan Galvin, Abby Jackson and Noah Thornewell.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents and brother David Galvin.
