LaNell Laird

Graveside service for LaNell Ann Laird, 83, of Grandview will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, July 22, 2023 in Grandview Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8:00 P.M. Friday, July 21, 2023 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Laird passed away Monday, July 17, 2023 in Grandview. She was born December 11, 1939 in Cleburne. She was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Laird worked for the Securities Exchange Commission for many years. She also was an active real estate investor. She loved to research genealogy. Visiting with friends and family brought her great joy. She will be missed.

Mrs. Laird is survived by her sons, Harold Laird of Grandview and Lyndon Laird of Grandview; brothers, Larry Jones of Rio Vista, Billy Joe Jones of Arlington; 4 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Laird is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Curtis Laird.
