A funeral service for Kaylub Jesus Norris, 19, of Alvarado, will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, January 30, 2026, at Hope Church, located at 2125 Nolan River Road, Cleburne, Texas 76033 with Pastor Todd officiating. There will be a time of visitation for family and friends from 6:00-8:00 PM The visitation to honor Kaylub will be held at Hope Church, located at 2125 North Nolan River Road, Cleburne, TX 76033, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Hope Church on Thursday, on January 29, 2026,
Kaylub Jesus Norris, a cherished son, brother, and friend passed away on January 21, 2026. He was born on August 11, 2006, in Dallas, Texas. Kaylub leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.
Kaylub was deeply loved by his parents, Walter and Shelly Norris, who instilled in him strong values and a sense of purpose. He shared an inseparable bond with his sister, McKayla Norris, whom he considered his best friend. Together, they created countless joyful memories. Kaylub also had an older brother, Trip Sloan, who he loved.
An undeniable spirit of joy followed Kaylub wherever he went. He had a big heart, a strong faith, and a contagious sense of humor that could brighten any room. His passions included gaming and fishing, activities that brought him joy and allowed him to connect with friends. Kaylub’s girlfriend, Kennedy Lawrence, was indeed his world, and he treasured every moment spent together.
Kaylub is preceded in death by his grandparents, Dorothy Anchondo and Jesus Torres; great-grandmother, Justina Kutil, and Tio, Angel Anchondo.
He is survived by his grandparents, Dennis and JoAnn Buchert; his aunt, Tiffany Cox, and her husband, Jason; and his uncles: Chris Buchert and his wife, Brandi, Kevin Buchert and his wife, Kristin, Brian Buchert and his wife, Elizabeth, and Chris Norris and his wife, Stephanie; 15 cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.
Kaylub Jesus Norris will be profoundly missed but never forgotten. His kind spirit and zest for life will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know him.
