Junior Roye

Graveside service for Junior Roye, 88, of Rio Vista will be conducted at 11:00 A.M.. Saturday, July 30, 2022 in Rio Vista Cemetery. Visitation will be 9-10:00 A.M., Saturday prior to service at the funeral home.

Junior passed away July 26, 2022 in Rio Vista. He was born September 2, 1933 in Blum to William Marvin and Angie Pearl Anderson Roye. Junior married Wilma Jean Bolen on November 21, 1996 in Whitney. Junior was a good man with a laid back nature. He was giving and devoted to his family. His grandchildren were true joys in his life, bringing out the child in him. Junior enjoyed fishing and listening to Christian music. He will be missed greatly.

Junior is survived by his wife, Wilma Roye; children and their spouses, Jan Ramirez and Rito, Darla Shelley, Monty Wood and Sharron, Danetta Welch and fiancé John Barney; 6 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Leo Roye and Marie, Wanda Harwell and Kenneth; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Junior is preceded in death by his parents; son, Michael Roye; siblings Travis Roye, H.A. Roye, John Roye, Raymond Roye, James Richard Roye, Azalee Watson and Violet Copeland.
