A private service is scheduled for June "June Bug" Ann King of Fort Worth.

"June Bug" Ann King was born on November 9, 2025, in Fort Worth, Texas, and passed away on May 4, 2026, in Dallas, Texas. Though her time with us was heartbreakingly brief, June's spirit shone brightly and left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

From the moment she entered this world, June was a fighter with an unyielding strength and a rebellious, youthful vitality. Those who had the privilege of caring for her, especially the devoted nurses at Children's Medical Center Dallas NICU and Medical City Center NICU, witnessed firsthand her brave and tenacious fight. She was a true NICU warrior and received immense love and attention; she adored the caregivers who stood by her side and supported her through every challenge.

Despite her short journey, June “June Bug” Ann King imparted a profound lesson of courage, resilience, and love. Her memory will forever be a beacon of hope and strength to all who loved her, and her legacy lives on in the hearts of her family and caregivers.

June Bug is preceded in death by her great-grandpa, Keith McCall.

She is survived by her beloved Momma, Amanda Mesavage & Dad, Jacob King; sister, Lucy Mesavage; grandparents as they are affectionately known, “Grandma” Eileen Mesavage & “Pa” Kevin Mesavage and “Lolli” Brandy King & “Pop” Jeremy King; aunt and uncles, Beth & Josh Konieczny, Kevin Mesavage, Colton King, and Liam King; as well as many great-grandparents, great-great grandmothers, and other treasured family members and loved ones.
