Juan passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2026 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born on November 1, 1953 in Jamay, Jalisco, Mexico. Juan married the love of his life, Lidia Georgina Villanueva, on November 9, 1974 in Dallas, Texas, marking the start of a beautiful life together. Juan's life was defined by his unwavering dedication to his family, his boundless capacity for love, and his infectious joy that warmed the hearts of all who knew him.
Throughout his life, Juan’s proudest accomplishment was being a devoted family man and “PaPa” to his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. But Juan’s influence extended far beyond his immediate family; his warmth and kindness knew no boundaries. With open arms and a gentle spirit, he became a beloved “PaPa” not just to his family, but also to countless friends, loved ones, and even the many nurses whose lives he touched with his humor and care. He was also a very proud hard worker and spent many years working with Keith Miller at Miller Metal Building.
Juan was known by all for his happy, loving nature. He was truly a people magnet, drawing others in with his cheerful disposition and his knack for making everyone feel cherished. He always made sure that he never missed any of the grandchildren’s events or games. No matter what, you could always count on PaPa and Nannie to show up and support them. Whether it was cheering on his favorite soccer team, Mexico, or simply sharing stories and smiles at family gatherings, Juan created memories that will live on in the hearts of all who had the honor of knowing him.
His legacy is one of kindness, warmth, and a big, welcoming heart. He lived his life in service to others, always ready with a smile or a word of encouragement. Those who knew Juan remember him as the pillar of his family, the center around which love and laughter revolved.
