Josue Levi Jacal

A funeral mass for Josue Levi Jacal, 35, of Cleburne, will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, May 24, 2025 in the St. Joseph Catholic Church, located at 807 N. Anglin Street, Cleburne, Texas 76033 with Fa. Reehan Antony officiating. Interment will immediately follow the mass in the Rosehill Cemetery, Cleburne, Texas. Rene Ozuna, Rene Manuel Ozuna, Arturo Vasquez, Fernando Quero, Juan Quero, Jessie Resendiz, Jovany Resendiz, and Daniel Reyes will serve as pallbearers. A rosary will be held at 6:00 PM on Friday, May 23, 2025 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home Chapel, followed by a time of visitation from 7:00-8:00Pm for family and friends.

Josue Levi Jacal passed away on Sunday, May 18, 2025 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born on August 2, 1989 in Salamanca, Gto. Mexico. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Josue worked as a waiter for several years both at Applebee’s and Chili’s in Cleburne. He was known for his smile and contagious laughter, lighting up any room he entered with his positive energy. Josue has been described as being cheerful, fun and charismatic – the ultimate jokester with a beautiful soul. He was loyal to his family and friends, never meeting a stranger and having the ability to make everyone feel special. He was a giver of his time, talents and resources to those around him. He enjoyed socializing, but especially movie trips with anyone who wanted to join him. Josue left an everlasting mark on the lives he touched and will be missed greatly. He is preceded in death by his father, Raul Jacal; and brother, Rogelio Jacal.

Survivors include his mother, Maria de Jesus Mendez; step-father, Arturo Martinez; siblings & their spouses, Berenice Ozuna & Rene Ozuna, Juan Ali Jacal & Emilia Castro, and Mitzi Jacal & Daniel Reyes; nieces and nephews, Rene Manuel, Yoveli, Mitzi Loreley, Camila, Gustavo, Ariel, and Bailey; as well as countless other relatives and friends.
