A funeral service for Jon Whites, 82, of Johnson County, will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, October 31, 2025, in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home Chapel, located at 512 N. Ridgeway Dr., Cleburne, TX 76033, with Brother Curtis Crowder officiating. Interment will follow in the Rosehill Cemetery, Cleburne. There will be a time of visitation for family and friends from 6:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home on Thursday, October 30, 2025. The family requests that memorial donations be made to the giver’s choice of children’s charities or local humane societies in lieu of floral tributes for the service.
Jon Whites, born on November 13, 1942, in Johnson County, Texas, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2025, in Cleburne, Texas. He leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and resilience that will be forever cherished by his family and friends.
Jon was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Dolores "Dee" Whites. Together, they created a warm and welcoming home, raising their daughter, Dawn Money, whom he adored. Jon's family expanded with the arrival of his grandchildren, Kristen Money, Sgt. Nolan Money and his wife Allison, and Bradon Hapeman, each of whom brought immense joy to his life.
He is also survived by his sister, Jenita Masters, along with numerous nieces and nephews who have fond memories of their time with him. Jon’s influence extended beyond his family, touching the lives of many friends who will remember him with great affection.
Jon was preceded in death by his parents, James Thomas and Pauline (Browning) Whites, as well as his daughter, Robin Whites, and son-in-law, Gerald Money. He is also reunited in spirit with his brothers, James Thomas "J. T." Whites Jr. and his wife Maxine, and Gary Whites and his wife Sheila.
Jon Whites will be remembered for his kind spirit, unwavering dedication to his family, and the countless lives he touched throughout his journey. His legacy will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
