John Cudd

Service for John Melvin Cudd, Jr., 91, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, October 8, 2022, in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial to follow in Green Acres Memorial Park. A visitation will be 6-8:00 P.M., Friday, October 7, 2022, at the funeral home.

John passed away Sunday, October 2, 2022, in Cleburne. He was born August 25, 1931, in Holliday, Texas to John Melvin Cudd, Sr., and Clovie Corrine (White) Cudd. John married Joyce on August 9, 1952. He served his country in the United States Airforce. John worked as a supervisor for General Dynamics where he later retired. He was a member of Wesley Memorial Methodist Church.

John is survived by his siblings and their spouses, Lloyd Cudd of Glen Rose, Kenneth Cudd and Earline of Corpus Christi, Cathryn Cooper and J.B., of Gatesville; grandchildren, Kristina “Krissy” Allen of Whitney, April Harwell (the favorite granddaughter) of Cleburne, A.T. Harwell of Cleburne; great-grandchildren, Nakana, Trenton “TBoy,” and Marilyn; great-great-grandchild, Ezra.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce; daughters, Debra and Sharla.
