Joe Jones

Joe Ray Jones, 78, of Cleburne passed away February 7, 2023 in Fort Worth. He was born June 25, 1944 in Caddo Mills to Robert Noel and Effie Monnie Clay Jones. Joe married Martha Ann Jones on December 20, 1985 in Fort Worth. He attended services at Calvary Baptist Church Cleburne for numerous years. Joe was an avid golfer and football fan. He enjoyed shopping, as well as watching western and sci-fi movies. Joe was fun loving, full of laughter and truly enjoyed family gatherings. He will be missed greatly.

Joe is survived by his wife, Martha Jones; daughter, Tina Mooring and husband, Lynn Dale; grandson, Chris Hill and wife, Crystal; great-grandchildren, Kacy, Keylee, Tyler; great-great-granddaughter, McKenley; and a host of other relatives and friends.


Joe is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Robert Jones.

A visitation and gathering for Joe will be 6:00-8:00 P.M., Saturday, February 11, 2023 at Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home. Private burial will be in Rio Vista Cemetery.
