Sammy married Brandy Rachel Tenke on March 7, 2015, in Griffin, Georgia. He was of the Christian faith. Sammy was an onery man, with a corny sense of humor. He was an avid sports-fan of all sports. He enjoyed spending time at home with family and friends. Sammy will be missed greatly. He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Samuel Chambers, Sr., and mother, Marie Joyce Cooper Harris.

Survivors include his wife, Brandy Chambers; stepchildren, Susan Martin, and Cordelle Martin; brothers, Johnny Morris, Tim Morris, and Shane Knowles; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other family members and friends.
