Joe Casarez

Services for Joe Jessie Casarez 72, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Friday, August 20, 2021, in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Pastor Stephen McCoy will officiate. Visitation will be 6-8:00 P.M., Thursday, August 19, 2021, at the funeral home with a rosary at 6:00 P.M.

Joe passed away on August 14, 2021, in Cleburne. Joe was born March 29, 1949, in Luling, Texas to Guadalupe Ramirez Casarez and Isabel Gonzalez Casarez. Joe was a Vietnam veteran. He retired from Johns Manville after 30 plus years. Joe married Ella Jean Vedder September 2, 1980. Joe was a very loving and caring father, grandfather, brother and friend.

Joe is survived by his daughter, Monica Lozada and husband Raul Lozada of Cleburne; son, Jesse Casarez of Cleburne; fur baby, Gizmo; granddaughter, Ofeilia Solis of Joshua, and grandson, Izzy Solis of Cleburne; sister, Antonia Hernandez and husband Florentino Hernandez of Dallas; Maryann Shastid and husband Randy Shastid of Irving; companion, Dolores Sandoval of Cleburne, along with many nieces and nephews.

Joe was preceded in death by his wife of 37 years, Ella Jean Casarez; grandson, JR Solis; parents, Guadalupe and Isabel Casarez; and brother Wally Casarez.
