A graveside service for Jimmy Don Crawford, 65, of Cleburne, will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 10, 2026, in the Rosehill Cemetery located at 960 E. Second Street, Cleburne, Texas 76031 with Pastor Eddie Scheler officiating. 

Jimmy Don Crawford passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 24, 2026, in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born on November 26, 1960, in Borger, Texas.

Jimmy will be remembered for the steady and meaningful way he invested in the lives of others through education and athletics. He coached football and track for many years in Navarro Mills, Cisco, and Glen Rose, and he also taught math. Through his work in the classroom and in sports, he shaped young lives with dedication, discipline, and care, leaving an impression that will be remembered by students, athletes, colleagues, and all who knew him.

His life’s work reflected a commitment to guiding others, encouraging growth, and giving his time and energy to the communities he served. Whether teaching math or coaching on the field and track, Jimmy made a lasting difference through his presence, leadership, and example.

Jimmy Don Crawford will be remembered with respect and gratitude for a life spent serving others and for the many lives he touched along the way.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James William Crawford and Lois Elizabeth Wendtland Crawford, sisters, Cathy Crawford and Carla Jean Crawford.

Survivors include his brother Jeff Crawford and his wife, Kim; nephews, Nicholas James Crawford, Nolan Jacob Crawford, and aunts, Mona Spannem and Ellen Bunguard.
