Janice Sharron Saylors Sain Shivers passed away on June 21, 2026, in Fort Worth. She was born on March 4, 1946, in Itasca. Janice’s journey was one defined by family, unwavering support, and resilience. Janice’s love of family formed the cornerstone of her days, and she devoted herself to nurturing the bonds that held her loved ones close. Her generous spirit brightened family gatherings, holidays, and everyday moments alike. Whether offering a kind word, open arms, or sage advice, Janice’s presence was a source of comfort and joy. She was a great storyteller and memory keeper; always keeping the family connected in good and bad times.

Before retiring, Janice worked as a servicer for John Manville for 27 years. Among her many joys, one of her favorites was creating personalized name plaques for her grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins—handmade treasures she crafted with care and proudly gifted for their walls.

Janice shared 31 years of marriage with her husband, Freddy. She affectionately called him her “brown‑eyed handsome man,” and he lovingly referred to her as “his green‑eyed beauty,” a reflection of the deep bond they shared throughout their life together.

She was preceded in death by her son, Audy Sain, Sr.; grandson, Johnathan Blake; parents, Robert Guidel Saylors and Ruby Faye Davis; siblings, Robert Saylors, Faidel Hester, Elsie Hudson, and Mona Kay Robinson, and first husband, Junior Sain.

Janice is survived by her husband, Freddy Shivers of Cleburne; children: Sammy Sain of Crowley, Sharron Sain Blake of Cleburne, April Brown and Brittany Shivers of Cleburne; grandchildren, Sammy E. Sain, Adam Sain, Amber Sain, Audy Sain, Shawn Sain, Jason Sain, Chelesea Bedford, Ashley Thornton, and Machelle Thornton, and 27 beautiful great-grandchildren.
