Jane Ann passed away Monday, March 28, 2022, in Keene. She was born December 4, 1944, in Olney, Illinois to W.H. (King) Cole and Jane Marie Fife Cole. Jane Ann married Jim Nixon on December 31, 1987, in Abilene. She was of the Methodist faith. Jane Ann worked as a Medical Secretary with over 35 years of service. She was a Gold Star Mother and will be missed greatly.

Jane Ann is survived by her children, Jeff Denson and spouse, Qyn Hughes of Whitney, Kelly Smith and spouse, Scottie of Odessa; grandchildren, Caitlin Wilkerson and spouse, J.D. of Odessa, Kris Denson and spouse, Crystal of San Angelo, Marissa Seibold and spouse, James of Waxahachie, Shelbi Denson of Abilene, and Shayna Hughes of Whitney; five great-grandchildren; and sister, Carolyn Wheatley of Gardendale, Alabama.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jim Nixon who passed on December 1, 2005, and son, PFC Martin Douglas Denson who passed on December 20, 1989.
