James will be remembered with affection by those who knew him. He had a special fondness for Volkswagen Bugs and found enjoyment in keeping up with his high school friends, connections that reflected both his interests and the value he placed on lasting relationships. May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him and continue to live on in the lives he touched.

He was preceded in death by father, John D. Woods and brother, William "Billy" Woods.

James is survived by his mother, Margot Woods, daughter, Emily Woods, son, Zachary Woods, and brother, Bobby Joe Woods.
