James Robert Storey

James Robert Storey, 78, of Grandview passed away Saturday, November 30, 2024 in Grandview. He was born August 13, 1946, in Fort Worth. His parents were John William and Madeline Garrett Storey.

He graduated Southwestern High School and attended UTA before enlisting in the Navy. He was a dedicated member of his naval ship association, USS Mahan. He served on the board of directors for this association for many years. He loved attending the yearly reunions and was instrumental in planning many of these adventures. He was known around Grandview for coaching little league baseball year-round when his kids were little.  He was an avid vintage car enthusiast with an affinity for Chevrolets. 

His family called him Pappy and he loved all of his children, his grandbabies, and his great grandbabies.
