Jim Eric Langford

A graveside service for Jim Langford, 78, of Fort Worth, will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 29, 2025, in Cleburne Memorial located at 405 Watters St, Cleburne, TX 76033 with Doug Funk officiating. There will be a time of visitation for family and friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at the funeral home on Friday, November 28, 2025.

Jim Langford, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, was born on September 22, 1947, in Hamilton, Texas. He lived a life full of love, laughter, and passion until his passing on November 19, 2025.

Jim was known for his outgoing personality, always ready to sell anything to anyone with a cheerful smile and a hearty laugh. He had a deep love for children and took great pleasure in spoiling his nieces and nephews, creating special memories that his family will cherish forever.

An avid fishing and hunting enthusiast, Jim found joy in spending time outdoors. He also loved flying and was skilled pilot. Throughout his life, he fostered strong bonds with those around him, ensuring that his family always felt cherished and supported.

He is survived by his loving wife, DJ Langford; daughter, Cynthia Wilson; and grandson, Dylan Wilson: siblings, Tom Langford III and his wife Cindy, Don Langford Jr. and his wife Julia, Cheryl Langford Prachyl and her husband Mike; nieces and nephews: Tom Langford IV, Jennifer Fabian, Don Jr. Langford and his wife Michelle, Sheena Payne and her husband Chad, Scott Langford and his wife Danielle, Adam Langford, Samantha Wann and her husband Tim, and Jody Flippen and his wife Lynne, all of whom he adored.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Floyd and Frances Langford, his niece Stephanie Ernst, and sister-in-law Gay Langford.
