Jalael "JJ" Abdelkhaleq

A gathering and visitation for Jalael “JJ” Abdelkhaleq, aged 44, of Cleburne, Texas, will be held on Sunday, December 15, 2024 from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 Noon at the funeral home.

JJ passed away on December 3, 2024. Born on September 17, 1980, in Fort Worth, JJ dedicated his career to the culinary arts, working as a server in fine dining restaurants. His profound passion for food made him a remarkable cook and a cherished presence in the kitchen. An individual of diverse talents, JJ enjoyed spending time outdoors and was committed to maintaining an active lifestyle as a fitness enthusiast. His memory will be honored by all those whose lives he touched.

He is survived by his parents, Teresa McCoy and Rick; his sister, Bambi Vincent, and her husband, Elias Balboa; his brother, Derrick Gatewood, and his wife, Michelle King. JJ also leaves behind eight nieces and nephews, along with other relatives who loved him dearly and will deeply miss him.

JJ was preceded in death by his father, Hani Abdelkhaleq.
