Helen Henderson

Private services will be held at a later date for Helen Paula Henderson, 81, of Covington.

Helen P. Henderson passed away Friday, April 15, 2022, in Fort Worth. She was born December 31, 1940, in the Parker Community to Palmer Stanley and Rita Viola Blankenship White. Helen married Charles Woodroe Henderson on January 9, 1967, in Hillsboro. She was a member of the New Life Baptist Church in Hill County. Helen worked as a home health caregiver for many years and was known for her ability to comfort those in her care. She had a loving nature and thoughtful spirit. Helen’s big heart will be missed greatly.

Helen is survived by her husband, Charles Woodroe Henderson; children, James Borden and wife, Thanh, Shellie Stokes and husband, Wayne, Sr., and Charles Warren Henderson; 7 grandchildren; 5 great- grandchildren; sister, Mary Moses; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, John P. White, James Dalton White and an infant sister.
