Lupe Bursiaga, Jr., born on July 9, 1962, in Levelland, Texas, went to be with the Lord on September 9, 2025, in Cleburne, Texas. He leaves behind a legacy rich with love, laughter, and memorable moments that touched the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Lupe was known as the life of the party, always bringing energy and joy wherever he went. His infectious laughter and sharp sense of humor endeared him to friends and family alike, making every gathering a celebration. He possessed incredible cooking skills that he generously shared, often treating loved ones to delectable meals that became the centerpiece of cherished occasions.
As a loving father, Lupe treasured his role and embraced every opportunity to nurture, support, and guide. Friends and family were of utmost importance to him, and he was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. His willingness to assist others showcased not just his generous spirit but also the profound love he held for his community.
Lupe had a passion for riding motorcycles, which symbolized his adventurous spirit and free-spirited nature. He frequently found joy in the open road, embracing the thrill of travel and the exhilaration it brought.
Lupe is preceded in death by his parents, Guadalupe, Sr. and Manuela Ochea Bursiaga.
Lupe is survived by his children, Crystal Burciaga Holt & husband Kyle and Shawna Burciaga & husband David Simmons; siblings, Josie Murphy & husband Dennis, Mary Lou Scott & husband Timothy, Gilbert Burciaga & wife Julie and Monica Miller; grandchildren, Krista, Brooklin, Dana and Drake; great-grandchild: Jaxen Dean; niece and nephews Josh Sr., Stephanie and Josh Jr. many more nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
He will be remembered fondly for his ability to crack jokes and create laughter, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all who were fortunate to encounter his warmth and kindness. Lupe Bursiaga, Jr. will be deeply missed, yet his spirit will live on through the countless memories he created and the lives he enriched.
