Gracie Hood

Graveside service for Gracie Mae Hood, 75, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, June 24, 2023, in Rosehill Cemetery. Reverend Charles Payne will officiate. Serving as pallbearers are Jefferson Marrs, Alan Hill, Kenneth McCollum, K.C. McCollum, Aiden Hill and Carley Hill.

Gracie passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2023, in Fort Worth. She was born December 22, 1947, in Kansas to Hugh and Emma Ryan. Gracie worked as a Registered Nurse with 30 years of service. She married Johnny Martinez. Gracie will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her children, Nancy Marrs, and Patricia McCollum and her husband, Kenneth; grandchildren, Chelly Marrs, Amber Hill and husband, Alan, Amanda McCollum, Jefferson Marrs and wife, Kristi, and K.C. McCollum; 9 great-grandchildren; sister, Sharon Brown; and brother, Leon Ryan.

Gracie was preceded in death by her husband in 2019; son, Patrick Hunt in 1984; granddaughter, Chelsea Marrs in 1992; great-granddaughter, Madison Marrs in 2022; and great-grandson, Bentley Northcott in 2012.
