Ginny Schulthess Sanders passed away at her home on Saturday, June 1, 2024. She was born to Alvin Adolf and Estena Pearl French Schulthess on August 30, 1947 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Ginny was of Christian faith. She married Jim Sanders on October 6, 1996 in Cleburne. They were married 27 years at the time of her passing. Ginny worked over 26 years as a teller and receptionist with Woodhaven Bank in Fort Worth. She was known for creating an environment in which everyone enjoying going to work. She put the “fun” in banking and made countless friends with those she worked with and those who were also her clients. Ginny has been described as being a genuinely beautiful lady – both inside and outside. She was humble, caring and loving. Ginny took care of everyone around her and gave of her time, talents and resources without hesitation. Not only was Ginny an amazing lady who loved laughter, but she was also a lady who had an independent streak and a bit of a strong will as well. She was an animal lover, especially of her dog, Lilly. Ginny’s love of life and her giving nature will be missed greatly. She was preceded in death by her parents.

 

Survivors include her husband, Jim Sanders; son, Trent Vavra; daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Brandon Bancroft; grandsons, Gage Bancroft, and Granger Bancroft & his wife, Caitlyn; 2 great grandsons, Everest Bancroft and Ender Bancroft; twin sister, Genice Trezona & her husband, Kenny; as well as several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
