A funeral service for George Robert Gray, 66, of Cleburne, will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home, located at 512 N Ridgeway Dr, Cleburne, TX. Interment will follow in the Rosehill Cemetery, Cleburne with Dustin Cash, Nick Garcia, Todd Allen, Kevin Love, Brett Carmichael, Jeremy Hargrove, Jacob Dominguez, Myles White, Westly Casey and Shelby White serving as pallbearers. There will be a time of visitation for family and friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home on Monday, December 22, 2025,
George Robert Gray, a beloved member of the Cleburne community, passed away on December 16, 2025, in Fort Worth, Texas. Born on August 3, 1959, in Dallas, George led a life rich in love, creativity, and hard work, leaving behind a legacy that will forever resonate with those who knew him.
George was known for his artistic talents, particularly his ability to craft beautiful woodwork that showcased his creativity and dedication. An enthusiastic guitarist, he often filled his home and the hearts of his family with music that reflected his passion for the art. He also had a deep appreciation for automobiles, with a special fondness for his truck, which stood as a testament to his hardworking nature. In addition, he enjoyed riding motorcycles for many years.
For over 48 years, George dedicated himself to his career as a forklift operator, demonstrating the same commitment, diligence, and determination that he brought to every aspect of life. He was regarded not only as a competent worker but also as a caring colleague and a supportive friend.
George was preceded in death by his wife, Dawn Gray, and his father, Clifford Gray.
He is survived by his beloved mother, Josephine Gray, siblings Charles Gray and Laura Park, children April Gray, Madelyn Gray, Brian Gray, Shelby White and his wife Tiffany, Bri Casey and her husband Westley; his grandchildren Samuel "Jacob" Dominguez, Isabella Marie, Myles Cooper, Oliver Clyde James, Jasper Lane, and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and relatives.
The love and memories George created will continue to inspire his family and friends. His spirit will live on in their stories, laughter, and the cherished moments they shared.
