Memorial service for Gene Johnson, 55, of Covington will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Monday October 19, 2020 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel.
Gene Johnson passed away, Thursday, October 1, 2020 in Fort Worth. He was born May 3, 1965 in Fort Worth to Mark Andrew and Emma Lee (May) Johnson. Gene was a firefighter for Covington and Granbury for over 20 years. He liked barbequing and the outdoors especially fishing. Gene was also a former bull rider and a quarter mile racer.
Gene is survived by his son, Cody Johnson; daughter Cheyanne Johnson; siblings, Claudine Bradley and husband Kennith, Charles McKinney and wife Betty, Kirby Hamilton and wife Cindy and a host of other family
Gene is preceded in death by his parents and sisters, LaVenda Haub and Cenith McCready.
