Frances Ann Hill, a cherished and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2026, in Fort Worth, Texas. Born on May 12, 1957, in Cleburne, Texas, Frances lived a life marked by intelligence, strength, and a dedication to service that touched the lives of many.

Frances was known for her sharp mind and her remarkable talent with words, earning her the affectionate title of a "wordsmith" among those who knew her. A lifelong lover of literature, she was rarely seen without a book in hand, a testament to her insatiable curiosity and love for learning. Her intellect was matched by her commitment to education and her career as a nurse, where she proudly served others with compassion and professionalism.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilburn Hill; her parents, Alfred Clifford Greene and Annie Vista (Pollard) Robinson; her sister, Lula Mae Fuller; and nephews Craig Pollard, Damon Pollard, Jemea Pollard, Joe Alton Fuller, Jr., and Jerome Pollard.

Frances is survived by her children, Toi Robinson, Waeland Wooldridge, Sr., Brandi Wooldridge, Chauncey Pollard, and Donald Wooldridge, Jr.; 16 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; her siblings, Anthony Pollard, Linda Wooldridge, Lora Rogers, and Cathy Maddox, and a broad and loving extended family that includes nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.

Frances Ann Hill's legacy is one of intellectual vigor, heartfelt devotion, and a steadfast commitment to the wellbeing of others. She leaves behind a family and community enriched by her presence, forever grateful for her enduring spirit.
