Graveside service for E. Jinnette Jones, 85, of Grandview will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Monday, September 18, 2023 in Union Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Jones passed away Monday, September 11, 2023 in Cleburne. She was born February 5, 1938 in Beaumont to John Thomas and Alvin Earle (Gregory) Wright. She married James Rufus “J.R.” Jones on August 9, 1957 in Houston.

Jinnette co-owned and operated local businesses with her husband, sister and children including Caddo Street Paint and Body, Mini Me Resale Shop and N.J. Auctions. She was of the Christian faith. Mrs. Jones was a true patriot
with love for country and passionate about genealogy, politics and public affairs. She was a strong lady that could be direct but always in a loving way. Her family was her greatest love and priority. She enjoyed antiquing and restoration. She will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her.

Mrs. Jones is survived by son Scott Jones; daughters, Lynda Pisano and husband, Patrick, Caryn Scarbrough and husband, Randall; 7 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; sister Joyce Wright Jackson; nephews Mark Thorton and Kyle Thornton and host of other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Jones is preceded in death by her parents and husband.
