Dorothy Mackin passed away Sunday, March 5, 2006 in Cleburne. She was born September 28, 1915 in Mounds, Oklahoma to Samuel Clark and Florence Yates Self. She was a retired teacher in elementary education.
Dorothy Mackin is survived by her grandson Michael Mackin and wife Deobrah of Cleburne; granddaughters, Melissa Timmons and husband Howard of Ft. Worth and Michelle Mackin of Houston; great grandchildren, Justin, Kirstin, Madison, BrookeLynn, Allison, Gabriel, Ethan and Aara; sister, Rowena Colvin of Louisiana; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Gilman Mackin and three sons.
