Donald "Pinky" England, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, brother, friend, devoted farmer, and proud member of Freemasonry, passed away on March 10, 2026, in Alvarado. Born on June 6,1949, in Fort Worth, Don was a man who left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
Don, a man of integrity, and quiet strength, dedicated his life to the land that was central to both his identity and his family's legacy. The Texas Heritage Award was awarded to the England Family Farm in recognition for having endured and thrived for over a century, a testament to his hard work and commitment to his craft. Through his years as a Mason, he lived by principles of brotherly love, relief and truth.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Viola England, and his sister, Connie Huffman. Survivors include his wife, Julie England; his children, Chasta England and her spouse, Tim; Darra Arnold and her spouse, KoRee; and Leigh Brooks; his grandchildren, Nolan, Ty, Avery Jo, Emory, Quinlyn, KonLee, KynLee and Kash; his brother, Brian England; his sister, Jeanie Walker, nieces, nephews, a wide circle of friends and Mason brothers who will forever honor his memory and the example he set.
He will be remembered for his steady character, bright and witty sense of humor, generous spirit, and example he set for family and friends.
