Dolores Milam

Service for Dolores Marie Berger Milam, 92, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Monday, April 24, 2023, in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will follow in Greenacres Memorial Park, There will be a time for visitation from 2:00-4:00 P.M., Sunday, April 23, 2023 at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers will be Darrell Boedeker, Charlie Milam, Jason Milam, Patrick Barton, Larry Edgar, and John Barton. The honorary pallbearer will be Greyson Boedeker.
Dolores passed away Thursday, April 20, 2023 in Crowley. She was born October 5, 1930, in San Diego, California to Gustave “Frank” Berger and Lilly Mae (Blades) Berger. Dolores married Marshall Alonzo Milam on February 22, 1964 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She worked as an office administrator for Carson’s Pest Control, retiring after 24 ½ years of service. Dolores was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and was very active in her church. She was very bubbly and young at heart, always ready for the next adventure. Dolores was strong willed with an independent streak. She believed in living life to the fullest. Dolores enjoyed ballroom, big band and western swing dancing and was a member of the Curly Q’s Square Dance Club. She was an avid traveler with a gypsy soul, who especially enjoyed taking cruises. Dolores was a talented seamstress, artist and crafter. She taught water aerobic classes as well. Dolores will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her children and their spouses, Janet & John Barton, Larry & Kim Edgar, Tom & Kerrie Master, Kathy & Billy Smith, Charlie Milam, Barbara & Mike Stovall, and Becky Fiore; grandchildren, Patrick Barton, Hope Driscoll, Faith Martino, Brandon Edgar, Brent Master, Kendra Ogdahl, Jason Cochran, Phillip Cochran, Jason Milam, Alexa Boedeker, Shane Johnston, Cole Risinger, Crystl Pace, Lindsey Fiore & Cade Risinger; numerous great and great-great-grandchildren; sister, Anita Sullins; many nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends.
Dolores was preceded in death by her husband; parents; son, Ronnie Milam; grandchildren, Daniel Barton, Natalie Master & Chisolm Ramar Milam; siblings, Bonita Colley, Juanita Bunyarnd, Frank Berger, Jr. & Francis Berger.
