Diana Delys Jarvis passed away peacefully on July 6, 2026. She was born on October 1, 1939 in Bakers Field, CA.
Diana was also a devout Catholic, drawing comfort and strength from her faith throughout her life’s journey. Her spiritual dedication was evident in the way she lived each day, guided by charity, love, and a gentle spirit. In her moments of leisure, Diana enjoyed knitting, expressing her creativity with every stitch. She was well known for her baking and cooking, delighting friends and family with delicious treats and home-cooked meals—a true source of comfort and joy in her home.
A proud member of Alcoholics Anonymous for forty-eight years, Diana stood as a testament to perseverance, humility, and hope. She was known for her strength and for the encouragement she offered to others, always lending a compassionate ear and a helping hand to those walking similar paths.
Diana's professional journey was distinguished by over forty years of dedicated service as a secretary. Her efficiency, reliability, and kindness in the workplace left a lasting impression on her colleagues and contributed meaningfully to the organizations she served throughout her long career.
Family was the heart of Diana’s world, and she shone especially brightly as an exceptional grandmother. Those closest to her will fondly remember the patience and warmth she shared, always offering support, love, and wisdom.
Diana was preceded in death by her daughter, Diana Lyn Batton, grandson, Mason Douglas Scott, and parents, Eugene Kelly Scott and Mae Margaret Tuttle.
She is survived by her daughter, Carrie Cox & her husband, Daniel; grandsons, Brandon Scott Cox and Colt Logan Cox; granddaughter, Danielle Talbot & her husband, Ryan; great-granddaughter, Presley Talbot; brother, Eugene Kelly Scott, II; sister, Sandra Mae Porter, and numerous nieces and nephews.
