Dennis Henderson passed away peacefully on August 22, 2026. He was born on January 8, 1952, in Monett, Missouri.

A dedicated professional, Dennis devoted over thirty years of his career to Glazer in Fort Worth, Texas. His commitment and hard work earned the respect of colleagues and friends alike, leaving a legacy defined by reliability, diligence, and a genuine camaraderie that made every workday a little brighter for those around him.

Dennis was truly a man born out of his time, an outdoorsman with a deep appreciation for nature’s beauty and the thrill of adventure. His passion for archery, fishing, and hunting became lifelong pursuits, reflective of his desire to remain connected to the land and traditions that he held dear. Whether tracking wild game in the woods or casting a line at dawn’s quiet edge, he found joy and solace in the simple wonders of the natural world.

Central to Dennis’s life was love. Samantha, he love of his life, was his constant companion and confidante, a presence who illuminated his days and enriched his journey. Those who knew Dennis speak often of his remarkable sense of humor, his quick wit brightening every gathering and easing the burdens of those he cared for.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel Deleo Henderson and Francis Orvia (Buntin) Henderson; one brother and two sisters.

He is survived by his loving wife, Samantha Jane (Barnett) Henderson; son Ben Henderson & his wife, Pam; daughter, Erin Rakes & her husband, Zack; six grandchildren; nephews, Andy Cunningham and Danny Cunningham; niece, Annie Carey; great-nephew, Theron Baker, and great-niece, Johanna Cunningham.
